9-Day Wellness Camps at Forts, Palaces & Castles of Colourful Rajasthan - India

Combine travelling to India to do Yoga & Mediation in Forts, Palaces and Castles in colorful Rajasthan.

If you are travelling to New Dehli Airport, you will be met at the airport andd transfered by car  to Castle Kalwar.

Day 1

Location : Castle Kalwar

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

On the roof-top of lovely Castle Kalwar and with the lush green hills in the background our renowned yoga and meditation teacher would introduce you to various yoga “aasans” and meditation and how to perform them.

After Yoga and Mediatation a Breakfast consisting of fresh juices, fruit, yogurt, sprouted beans and hand-grounded porridge with organic milk will be ready for you.

9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Take a thrilling jeep safari through the villages of Kalwar.  Visit a public school and where you will. be able to meet the school children and teachers.  We will provide you with fresh fruit to bring them as a present and I you wish, you may take photos with them – something they really enjoy, as you may well recognize in their bright sights and smiles.

After the visit to the villages of Kalwar, we will return to Castle Kalwar for lunch; and for those who wish to do so; enjoy a swim in the castle´s pool.

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Jaipur’s famous Ayurveda doctor Mahendra Sharma will hold a session on AyurvedaIndia’s 5000 year old science of wellness – about the benefits of Ayurveda.

After the session, you will be able to enjoy  awesome folk dances in the lawns of the Castlebeautifully lighted up in the early evening.
Dinner and overnight will take place in Castle Kalwar.

Day 2

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

During two hours, your trainer will guide you to perform selected “aasans” and meditation

After meditation and a rich breakfast we will leave for a half day excursion to Jaipur, where we will visit  the magnificent Fort Amer, the City Palace and Museum, the Albert Hall and Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds.

Lunch will take place at the boutique heritage Hotel Mahal Khandela – owned and operated by the scions of the royal family of Khandela.

After lunch, we will go back to Castle Kalwar for a rejuvenating massage called Abhyanga

Abhyanga  is a therapeutical entire body massage with special ayurvedic oils, that tones the body, improves blood circulation and restores energy.

Dr. Sharma will hold a  relaxed talk by the pool, about the long-term benefits of Abhyanga.

After Dr. Sharma´s talk and before dinner, you will be able to enjoy a puppet show.
Overnight at the Castle.

Day 3 : Castle Kalwar

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

As in the previous days, Yoga and  Meditation will be held at the roof-top of Castle Kalwar.

After breakfast, we will drive to Sanganer, to see Jaipur’s world-famous craftsmen and women making hand-block printed scarves, bed and table linen.

Sanganer is also known worldwide for their products made from recycled paper.

We will have lunch at the fabulous Narain Niwas Palace – Jaipur.

After lunch at the Narain Niwas Palace, we will return to Castle Kalwar for a “Sirodhara” ayurvedic massage.

Sirodhara ayurvedic massage is a therapeutical massage that improves deep relaxation and helps to overcome insomnia, anxiety and stress.

A BBQ and a dinner will be held at the Castle Kalwar´s poolside.

Day 4 : Fort-Palace Madhogarh

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Yoga and Meditation at the roof top of Castle Kalwar.

After breakfast and check out from Castle Kalwar, we will and head for the 200-year old Fort-Palace Madhogarh – located 80 km away from Castle Kalwar.

Fort-Palace Madhogarhi s perched on a hill with sorrounded by lush greenery offering a perfect setting for a pleasant stay, Yoga and Meditation.

After lunch we will drive to Chand Baori – an awesome 11th century step-well. This step-well part of the famous Silk Route served as a resting place for traders and cattle herders.

On the opposite site of the step-well is the 11th century temple dedicated to Harsh Mata – the Goddess of Happiness.

At Sikandra  be able to see the superb craftsmanship of artisans chiseling marble and red-stone to used to build fountains, doors, statues and railings.

Dinner and overnight will take place at Fort-Palace Madhogarh.


Day 5 : Fort-Palace Madhogarh

6:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Yoga and Meditation at Fort-Palace Madhogarh.

After breakfast we will drive to Pushkar the temple town sacred to the Hindus to take a walking tour of the lakes in the town and see a unique “aarati”  performed to praise Lord Brahma.

Lunch will take placee at the Phool Mahal Palace – by -the – lake of the Maharaja of Kishangarh.  This town is famous or its 16th century miniature paintings known tworldwide as the Kishangarh School of Paintings.

You will be able to see how the artists reproduce these lovely paintings on silk cloth or paper, in the studio located at the magnificent Fort Kishangarh.

After visiting Fort Kishangarh, we will drive back to Fort Madhogarh, where upon arrival you will be able to enjoy a “Patra Swedan” Ayurvedic massage.

Patra SwedanAyurvedic massage uses cotton pouches filled with different herbs soaked in oil to massage the body, recommended for joint and muscular pains and to improve good blood circulation.

BBQ, dinner and overnight at Fort Madhogarh.


Day 6 : Hotel Mahal Khandela – Jaipur

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Yoga & meditation at the Fort.
After breakfast leave for Jaipur city and check into boutiqueheritage Hotel Mahal Khandela. This hotel is owned & operated by your hosts – KV Singh & his wife Rudrani Singh.
After lunch learn from Rudrani Singh some delectable dishes that make for wholesome food. She will tell you about the uses and benefits of various spices and condiments. Help her in stone grinding of spices and cooking with various unrefined oils. And discover for yourself how tasty and healthful such preparations can be.
Enjoy gala dinner on the roof-top of Hotel Mahal Khandela where soulful classical music will be played for you by a famous local troupe.

Day 7 : Hotel Mahal Khandela

6:30 AM – 8:30 AM

Yoga and meditation on the roof-top of the Hotel Mahal Khandela

After breakfast a one-to-one session with a meditation teacher from the Brahma Kumaris Ashram on “rediscovering” yourself and how one can lead a life of fulfillment.

After the one to one session with the meditation teacher, we will visit the colourful bazaars of Jaipurthe jewelers’ and spice markets and take a cycle rickshaw ride in the inner lanes of the city.

After visiting Jaipur, lunch will take place at the Hotel Mahal Khandela.

Later in the afternoon we will take an excursion to see Samod Palace with its exquisite mirror work on the walls, doors and ceilings.

Return to Hotel Mahal Khandela for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 : Castle Khandela

6:30 AM – 8:00 AM

Yoga & meditation at Hotel Mahal Khandela.
After breakfast leave for Khandela – a town situated in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan.
Shekhawati is world-famous for its “havelis” ( mansions ) that have beautiful frescoes on their entrances, walls and ceilings depicting marriage processions, village life, erotica and battle scenes.
Lunch enroute at Khandela Resort & Safari Camp – Village Thikariya
Check in at Castle Khandela. Walk through this colourful town and excursions around to see the
beautiful ” havelis “.
Dinner & overnight at Castle Khandela

Day 9 : Castle Khandela

6:30 AM – 8:00 AM

Yoga and Meditation at Castle Khandela.

After breakfast we will take a bullock-cart ride around the villages of Khandela. We will also see more frescoes at the mansions of Shekhawati.

Return and lunch at Hotel Mahal Khandela in Jaipur.

In the afternoon, the priests will perform a sacred “havan” for your good health, happiness and prosperity.

Drinks, BBQ and farewell dinner will be hosted at Hotel Mahal Khandela.
Overnight at Hotel Mahal Khandela.

Day 10

After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur Airport.
